Our Story Here

The original Safari Run experience

Safari Run San Mateo is the original location, built by one family who believed kids thrive when movement and fun go hand in hand. Designed through years of listening to parents and watching children play, the space encourages active movement, confidence, and healthy habits.

Kids climb, run, and explore in a clean, welcoming environment while parents appreciate the structure, visibility, and caring staff that make every visit feel safe, supported, and FUN.

First-time visit

Don't forget the waiver.

Every kid needs a signed waiver before they can play. Takes about two minutes — and it's good for the whole year.

House rules

Open play, in four beats.

A few small things keep the jungle running smoothly so everyone has fun.

Socks required.

No shoes, no bare feet. We sell socks at the front if you forget.

Adults on duty.

One adult per family stays inside. Snack area is right there — sit, relax, watch.

Be kind to others.

Take turns, share the slide, cheer on a stranger. The jungle is more fun when everyone gets a chance to play.

Listen to the crew.

Every floor is staffed. If they ask your kid to slow down, they mean it with love.
